Boom Daily 80's Throwback- Timex Social Club "Rumors"

Back in 1986 The Timex Social Club seemed to appear out of nowhere. The blended hip hop with R&B grooves and created a sound that would in the early 90's become known as New Jack Swing. But in 1986, their song "Rumors" was a club banging dance hit that sat at the top of the charts in the U.S. on the Hot 100, dance and R&B Billboard charts.

"Rumors" is sometimes considered a bit of a lost hit but you are guaranteed to hear it at any party or club where an old school dance mix is being played!
