Are Kris Jenner's days of controlling the Kardashian family empire numbered? Well, if Kim Kardashian has her way it looks like Jenner will be forced into retirement earlier than even she would like. While Jenner is responsible for guiding the family to fame in spite of minimal talent, it's Kardashian with the help of her husband, Kanye West, that believes she is more than ready to take control.
According to a new report by Radar Online, Kardashian has always wanted to take over control of the family business and as her youngest sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner are now emerging as breakout stars it might be time for everyone to change positions. The youngest Jenner's are a major part of the appeal of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and even Kim has come to terms with the fact that she may need to step aside from all of that camera time because the younger audience wants to see more of her sisters.
Kardashian would reportedly now prefer to take things over behind the scenes, approving potential story lines and making sure that the family is being marketed in a way that keeps them prominent. The problem is that Kris isn't exactly ready to relinquish any kind of real control on her own. Her kids are all grown now and her ex-husband just transformed into a woman. Jenner certainly needs something to cling to and that is likely to be work at least for now.
Can you see a point in time where it would make sense for Kardashian to take over running the family business? Is it a necessary step to ultimately keep the family fresh and relevant?
