'RHONY' Heather Thomson Claims Josh Taekman Didn't Cheat Via Ashley Madison

The Real Housewives of New York's cast is slowly beginning to weigh in on the news that cast member Kristen Taekman's husband Josh had an active Ashley Madison account. Josh admitted that he opened the account four years ago with a bunch of his college buddies, but has insisted that the 62 transactions on it were not made by him. Heather Thomson was great friends with the Taekman's long before any of them appeared together on RHONY and she has thrown her hat into the ring to defend Josh and support Kristen's apparent decision to stand by him.

In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly Thomson said, "The Ashley Madison thing is unfortunate because Josh is completely innocent. If you knew Josh the way I know him, you’d be completely like, ‘Of course he would sign up for that with this buddies!’ That’s a total Josh thing to do! He has a very fraternity side to him that I love. Kristen is a trooper and taking it like a trooper. Josh took it like a trooper [too] for the first season of the show when he was made out to look like such a douche when he’s not. They’re going to be fine. They are my friends for life. I count them among my dearest friends. There is nothing but love there.”

While fans of the show have heard that Josh is actually a really great guy and he was just portrayed as a real idiot by Bravo, he certainly didn't come across as a loving husband last season. Instead he seemed overly critical of his wife and like the kind of guy that just might prefer the company of any woman other than poor Kristen. Again, that could easily just be the intended perception that we were all given because it made fans of the show speak up and any buzz is ultimately a good thing, right?

Do you believe that Josh really is innocent of actually meeting up with women via Ashley Madison?  Perhaps one of those college friends continued to use the account that he originally opened without his knowledge and now Josh has been taking the heat for it. What do you think that the real story is?
