Yesterday I told you that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom had signed off on paperwork to dismiss their pending divorce and that once the petition was filed it meant that they are staying married, Supposedly this near death experience has brought clarity to Odom and the gravity of his drug use, making him realize that he really does need to stop or else death is inevitable.
Once Odom swore to Kardashian that he is finished with drugs and that he wants to stay clean, she was quite willing to give things a chance. Staying clean will be relatively easy for Odom in the near future and that's because he is looking at an extensive hospital stay do to several residual medical problems that his overdose has caused. While Odom has survived, his quality of life is considerably different.
According to a report by People, "Lamar is doing OK. There are still many questions about what will happen in the future. Lamar still can’t stand up alone. He has to be helped to a chair right by his bed. He is receiving antibiotics for a respiratory infection. He is also still receiving dialysis.”
An even bigger challenge might come further down the road when and if Odom is well enough to leave the hospital and return to some sort of real life.
