2016 is quickly becoming the year of unexpected celebrity deaths. It was announced earlier that Garry Shandling has died at the age of 66. The comedian was best known for his groundbreaking "The Larry Sanders Show", a FOX staple back in the 1980's.

According to an update by TMZ at 1:44 PM PT -- Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ Shandling died from a massive heart attack, with no prior warning whatsoever.
