Currently Booming: David Foster Thinks Yolanda Loves the Attention from Being Sick

Yolanda Foster has been the subject of many headlines recently. First, the reality star has returned for a third season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in spite of her ongoing health issues. She and David Foster also announced their split, much to the surprise of her fellow housewives and fans alike. As this season of the Bravo show has progressed it seems that her co-stars have become more than a little skeptical of her battle with Lyme disease. They all agree that she is sick, but seem to agree that things aren't adding up and now we're hearing that Yolanda's soon-to-be-ex agrees with that notion.

According to a report by Us Weekly, “David and his family think Yolanda just loves the attention of being sick. They believe she’s exaggerating her condition. And they point out that she’s never gotten a legit diagnosis or a second or third opinion. He didn’t understand why Yolanda wouldn’t leave The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills if she’s in so much pain and so tired, He’s famous and private and rich, so it was frustrating Yolanda wanted to do this show so badly.”

There has been speculation in the press that Yolanda might be exaggerating things or that the root of her troubles might actually be psychological and now it seems that David might actually agree with that notion. What do you think is actually going on? Has Yolanda waged an honest physical battle, one that she has opted to share in order to educate the public? Or has she been misdiagnosed or is she simply thriving on the extra attention? 

Currently Booming: 'RHONJ' Amber Marchese Quits Show, Claims Scenes are Staged

When Amber Marchese joined the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey last season she was hoping to have a great experience. Instead the cancer survivor has confirmed that doing the reality show was nothing at all like she had anticipated and she didn't like the way that she was portrayed. Marchese confirmed what many had already suspected, she'll not be returning to the show for a second season.

Marchese recently spoke with People magazine and gave what many consider to be a pretty explosive interview. “I was picked on a casting call while pursuing acting, and the person that was presented was created for the show. I had little control over content, situations, or what they decide to show the viewers. Even my relationship with the twins was created. I recruited them for my storyline after I was chosen. I only met with Teresa Guidice and Dina Manzo for filming purposes. I never built a friendship with them as we were nothing more than co-workers. I wish them all well and the best of luck, although, my husband does not share my sentiments.”

Based on Marchese's description of things, it sure sounds like a lot of what we have all seen of RHONJ is at the very least staged if not completely scripted. Do you think that Marchese wanted to give us that idea? Are you surprised to hear that she considers the other housewives nothing more than former coworkers? Do you think that if the other ladies were to be completely honest their comments would resemble some of Marchese's?

What are your thoughts on RHONJ? Is Marchese just being negative because she wasn't asked back or is she telling the truth about the reality show?

Currently Booming: Kardashian's Filming Lamar Odom's Medical Crisis for Reality Show

Would the Kardashian family really go so low as to film footage for their reality show as Lamar Odom fights for his life in a Las Vegas hospital?  Sadly, that seems to be exactly the case. Not long after the former NBA player was found unconscious in a Vegas brothel we learned that Khloe Kardashian was on her way to his hospital bedside. While the two have been separated for about two years both seemed to hope for a reconciliation so her presence wasn't a surprise. Unfortunately, when the rest of the Kardashian clan started flying in that's when intentions started to look a little fishy.

According to a report by Page Six, “It’s a s- -t show,” an unnamed source said. “The Kardashians are trying to run everything. They walked into the hospital with cameras rolling. It was shocking, but hardly a surprise…They are all crying and pretending like they care.”

Various sources have claimed that Kardashian family momager, Kris Jenner is using Odom's life and death situation as a great storyline for the season of their reality show that is currently filming. While one could argue that this is reality so it's fair game, it also seems pretty exploitative to take yet another family crisis and turn it into made-for-television drama.

Up until this point, Jenner has never really seen any issue as being off limits and instead has used everything to cash in. Do you think that the cameras have been rolling on family members this week as they have all gone through various emotions in connection to Odom's overdose?
