Currently Booming: Lamar Odom Reportedly Brain Dead

It has been nearly three days since Lamar Odom's unconscious body was found at The Love Ranch, a brothel in Las Vegas, and sadly his chances of survival are not looking good. While doctors originally gave him a 50/50 chance of pulling through this suspected drug overdose, the longer that he remains comatose, the less likely he is to survive. While some sources have reported that Odom has squeezed estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian's hand, most doctors believe that the movement was likely involuntary.

Various reports out this morning seem to be confirming that Odom is technically brain dead and that Kardashian, as next of kin, is left to make all of the medical decisions on his behalf. One of those decisions may include having Odom transferred to an L.A. hospital for treatment. So far there is no word on whether or not that is a realistic possibility. Supposedly she has already had doctor's from across the country quickly flown in to evaluate the former NBA stars worsening condition.

The entire Kardashian and Jenner clan (minus Caitlyn Jenner) has flown to Vegas as a show of family solidarity. They also have stopped business operations, something that we have never seen before. Kendall Jenner left a scheduled fashion week appearance and even Kim Kardashian's app is on pause during this tragic medical crisis.

Currently Booming: Lamar Odom Reportedly in 'Dire' Condition, Khloe Kardashian 'Inconsolable'

Rumors about Lamar Odom have been swirling since last night, after it was confirmed that he was found unconscious at a Las Vegas brothel earlier in the day. What we know for sure is that Odom had been partying there for days as a way of escaping his everyday life and it may ultimately cost him his life. 

According to a report by TMZ, "Sources at the Love Ranch tell us ... 35-year-old Odom arrived at the Ranch Saturday and was partying with the girls for days. A source at the Ranch said Lamar was taking an herbal substitute for Viagra. We spoke with Hof  ... who tells us Tuesday afternoon, a woman went into Odom's room in the VIP suites and found him unconscious. We're told the woman began screaming for the manager -- who called 911. The manager rolled Lamar over on his side and saw "mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth." An ambulance took Lamar to Pahrump hospital, where doctors intubated him ... an indication he could not breathe on his own."

Updated reports late last night say that Khloe Kardashian is at Odom's side and completely inconsolable. Obviously this is exactly what she feared would happen to her ex if he didn't steer clear of his addictions once and for all. Kardashian filed for divorce in Dec. of 2013 but a judge never actually signed off on the petition because Odom had dragged his feet with his portion of the paperwork.

Kardashian is technically still considered Odom's next of kin, which means that the decisions regarding his medical care likely are resting on her shoulders. Many outlets are reporting that Odom has very little brain activity and that makes his prognosis pretty dire right now. Such an incredibly sad situation for one of reality television's most popular former couples.

Ben Affleck Struggling with Split From Jennifer Garner

It has been nearly a month since we learned that Jennifer Garner's marriage to Ben Affleck has come to an end and in the weeks that have followed, the two have seemed incredibly amicable. First they took a family vacation to the Bahamas to escape the media when the news first broke and then they spent several weeks together in Atlanta while Garner worked. Now we're hearing that they will be sharing Brooke Shields old home while renovations are done to their own estate. All the while Affleck has put up a solid front but now we're hearing that the actor is in fact a mess.

Apparently Affleck has been putting his acting skills to good use in order to appear as though he is handling everything just fine. A recent report by Radar Online seems to tell a different story. While he may not have wanted to give up his vices to be a better husband and father, Affleck also really didn't want to lose Garner either.

After years of watching Affleck's alcohol and gambling addictions flare up, as well as rumors of infidelity, Garner finally had enough and pulled the plug on their marriage. Now he is left to figure out how to handle his life without  the person that kept him most grounded for the last decade and Affleck isn't quite sure how to do that.

Some seem to think that a reconciliation might ultimately happen here. Obviously Affleck isn't happy about the split because if he was he would be living it up as a free man. Instead he does seem to be acting more like a man that wants his family back, don't you think?

Nick Gordon Reportedly on Suicide Watch After Bobbi Kristina's Death

Nick Gordon must be an absolute mess of emotions right now. While he is used to not having contact with longtime love, Bobbi Kristina Brown, the reality that she has died now makes an eventual reconciliation impossible. Gordon was there when Brown was found submerged in a bathtub last January and her family has banned him from having contact with her ever since. Both the Houston's and the Brown's seem to strongly believe that her accident was the result of abuse at Gordon's hands and we're hearing that he is now on a suicide watch.

According to a source for Hollywood Life, "Nick is on suicide watch. He is out of control with regret and sadness. He keeps saying that if only [Bobbi Kristina] had heard his voice, things would have been different. She may have lived.”  Several weeks after Brown's medical crisis began Gordon decided to go to rehab to clean up his act. He was released back in May and has been living with his mother in Florida while trying to stay clean.

This case has been in the hands of the DA's office almost from the start and in recent weeks we have heard that it was basically being treated like a murder investigation. While Gordon has insisted that he didn't lay a finger on Brown he also has hired Casey Anthony's power house legal team to guide him through whatever comes next.

Bobbi Kristina Brown Dead at Age 22

Sad news this evening as it has been confirmed that Bobbi Kristina Brown has finally died in a hospice care center near Atlanta. Her death at this point was expected, as family members decided to take her off of life support medication a month ago, but that doesn't make the situation any easier to swallow. Her family issued a statement confirming the news just a little while ago saying,

"Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away Sunday, July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."

Brown was discovered full submerged in her bathtub on January 31 and never regained consciousness in spite of her family's best attempts at medical intervention. Over the last six months the Houston's and Brown's have often been divided over how to best care for her but in the last several weeks they appeared to be in total agreement that it was finally time to let Brown go.

While the physical suffering has finally ended it's likely just the beginning for Brown's family who will be looking for both justice and money. Brown's longtime boyfriend, Nick Gordon has been under investigation since January with the DA's office alluding to the fact that this would ultimately shift into a murder investigation. Apparently Gordon is expecting to get nailed with charges because last month he retained Casey Anthony's legal team to help steer him through whatever comes next.

Funeral arrangements for Brown haven't been announced yet and an autopsy is expected this week to help pin point the exact cause of her death.

Hearse Seen Leaving Hospice Facility Under Heavy Security, Has Bobbi Kristina Died?

After spending nearly six months in a vegetative state it looks like the sad end might finally be near for Bobbi Kristina Brown. Bobby Brown's 22-year-old-daughter has never regained consciousness after being found in a tub of water on January 31st and the family recently decided to transfer her to hospice where she can die in peace. Yesterday Brown's condition appeared to possibly take a turn for the worse when a white tent was constructed to block the back door of the hospice facility. Shortly thereafter a hearse was seen backing into the secluded area leading many to think that Brown may have finally passed.

This medical crisis has been extremely sad right from the start with various members of both the Brown and Houston families alleging that Brown's boyfriend, Nick Gordon was responsible for her condition. Gordon eventually checked himself into rehab and completed an intensive program. He has relocated to Florida but remains under investigation because Brown had been beaten before she was found in her bathtub. Her estate has also filed a $10 million suit against Gordon alleging all sorts of physical abuse and also they claim that he has stolen from Brown while she lay comatose for months.

Once Brown's family finally came to terms with the fact that she can't possibly recover and decided to let her go there was renewed interest in the criminal investigation because once she does die then murder charges are a possibility. The question is whether or not the Atlanta police have pieced together enough to formally charge Gordon with anything substantial. He recently hired Casey Anthony's attorney to help him wade through the mess so it seems that Gordon is expecting to be hit with something heavy duty.
