Can you believe that we are only a few months away from the X-Files hotly anticipated return to television?  Now that filming on the tenth season has wrapped in Canada the heavy duty promotion has begun. David Duchovny and Chris Carter were front and center at NY's Comic Con last weekend to talk shop and fans of the cult classic series are counting down the days until Mulder and Scully (Gillian Anderson) are back on the case. "Are We Truly Alone" is the very first episode of this reboot and a new promo clip has good old Mulder pondering the same kinds of questions that launched the series more than 20 years ago. Currently Booming: 'The X-Files' Takes NY Comic Con by Storm

Are you guys excited about The X-Files returning to our television screens next January? I thought so. Fans of the cult classic hit show have begged for Mulder and Scully (played to perfection by David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson) to reunite onscreen and it's finally going to happen. We know that the cast and crew filmed in Vancouver this past summer and they were thrilled to show up for New York Comic Con to talk about the beloved show this weekend.

Those in attendance were lucky enough to preview the first episode of the series revival, which will air on January 24th for the rest of us to see. Several nuggets have leaked out from that screening and perhaps the biggest might be the notion that everything that The X-Files has taught us to believe over the last 20 years is false. New 'X-Files' Trailer Reunites Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny as Mulder and Scully

Fans of the 90's cult classic hit, The X-Files, have been dying to catch a real glimpse of footage from the newly rebooted series and finally, FOX has decided to oblige us all. Last night the very first trailer for the latest installment of the show was released and just hearing a couple seconds of that now-infamous theme song is enough to make die hard fans crazy.

The return of The X-Files is something that many have all but prayed for and to now see proof that Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny really are filming together is just all sorts of amazing. In recent interviews Duchovny, who plays Fox Mulder, has alluded to the fact that this six episode revival could easily turn into something more if the ratings are as high as everyone is anticipating.

If The X-Files were to return for a few seasons on a limited run basis it would be pretty ground breaking for television as it could lead to a new standard way of doing things.
