I was in the car driving yesterday when Ashford & Simpson's "Solid" came on the radio and boy did it take me back. I first remember seeing the video for this song from 1984 while at my grandmother's. It was back when NYC's WPIX would show videos on Saturday afternoon's and aside from loving Billy Idol and the Footloose soundtrack, they also favored R&B acts. The video features the couple ducking out of a rainstorm in what looks like Central Park. They end up singing to each other and random strangers join in. Yeah, I know. It's a bit hokey but what isn't is the relationship and career that Nickolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson shared.

While "Solid" was their highest charting hit this duo recorded and released a lot of music plus they also had a hand in writing and producing for acts like Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles. And can we talk about the heat factor? They first got together in 1964 and stayed together until Ashford's death in 2011. Every photo out there tells the story of an extremely connected and devoted couple. That makes their lyrics in songs like "Solid" a whole lot more genuine. Check out the video below. 'Daily Boom' Quoted by 'Fox News' Again!

It looks like those rumors about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton dating are true! The two were spotted looking very cozy at several Halloween parties last weekend, leading to rampant speculation about a romance blossoming. It seems that they had no intention of keeping things private because Stefani's rep did confirm that the two are "dating", despite it being a very recent development.

Stefani and Shelton have always been flirtatious when working together on The Voice and now the speculation about when their relationship really started has begun. The two are recently divorced and both Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert (their exes) seem to have questions about this new romance. Supposedly the chemistry between Shelton and Stefani raised eyebrows to the point that Lambert confronted her then-husband  about his behavior.

Are Rosie O'Donnell and Tatum O'Neal Dating?

In the six months since Rosie O'Donnell made a hasty exit from ABC's The View, she may have grabbed more headlines than she would have had she stayed with the troubled chatfest. Unfortunately, most of Rosie's attention has been pretty negative, between her going through a messy divorce from Michelle Rounds and dealing with a custody battle, while her oldest daughter, Chelsea recently ran away and was later found in a drug den. The most recent nugget has the controversial star possibly dating Tatum O'Neal.

According to Page Six, the two were recently spotted sharing, "an intimate dinner at Greenwich Village restaurant Da Silvano last month, and attended Broadway show “Hamilton,” where O’Donnell was heard joking O’Neal is her “new wife.” But O’Donnell’s spokeswoman, Cindi Berger, insists the women are not romantically involved."

While Rosie's team is denying that the two are an item, let's face it, this doesn't seem like the best time in the world for her to be publicly dating anyone. Her personal life is a mess and a big part of that mess involves her kids so bringing someone new into the chaos wouldn't necessarily make sense. Rosie is wise enough to know this, so do you think that she and O'Neal really are an item and simply not making it officially public yet? Details Finally Leaking Out About Jennifer Aniston's Wedding to Justin Theroux

Nearly one week after marrying Justin Theroux, details on Jennifer Aniston's low key wedding in her Bel Air home are starting to make the rounds. What do we know so far? Well, Aniston reportedly wore a creme colored strapless dress that was long and flowing and her normal glam team was on deck for the big day. The guest list was actually very small with perhaps less than 70 people on hand to watch Aniston and Theroux swap vows.

Aniston may have lots of friends but former cast mates Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc were not on the short invite list this time around. Howard Stern offered a toast to the newlyweds and later dished on his radio show about how everyone was invited to join them on their honeymoon in Bora Bora. That wasn't the strangest detail though. Apparently Aniston's love of The Muppets lead to a wedding cake that looked like it was created by Jim Henson himself.

I have to hand it to Aniston because she proved that if a celeb really wants to keep something private then they really can find a way to do so. The one thing she has in common with Angelina Jolie (besides Brad Pitt) is the fact that both women managed to pull off their dream weddings without the paparazzi catching on until after the fact!

Are Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Trying to Reconcile?

The break up of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck has kind of dominated the celebrity news headlines this summer but I wouldn't pull the plug on these two just yet. Even rumors and unofficial confirmation that Affleck had hooked up with their nanny hasn't been enough to make Garner take off her wedding ring. In fact, just yesterday these two were spotted shopping together in Atlanta and their wedding rings were both still on!

We know that Garner and Affleck have continued to live together supposedly for the sake of co-parenting their three kids but the kids aren't making them keep their rings on. They are likely doing that because in spite of it looking like the marriage is finished, something still must remain between them.

Almost from the minute that they announced their split the media has wondered out loud if there was a chance for real reconciliation between Garner and Affleck. You have to admit, at least as of now their actions seem to be leaning in that direction more than a clear cut divorce. Do you think that they will eventually patch things up?

Will Taylor Swift Move in with Calvin Harris?

After a bit of a self-induced dry spell in the love department, it looks like Taylor Swift has found the real deal with Calvin Harris. The couple might be in the early days of their relationship but sources close to both have confirmed that things between them have heated up very quickly. In fact, so fast that several rumors have circulated in recent weeks that Swifty and her new man are already thinking of moving in together. So far, it seems like there is no truth to this notion.

In fact Hollywood Life has confirmed that sources close to the duo insist that although they are very happy together, no real thought has been given to actually moving in together. Swift and Harris both are in the middle of two very successful careers that keep them quite busy and they are currently enjoying spending time together whenever their schedules allow for it to happen.

Perhaps this is a smart move for Swift, who has admittedly not exactly had the best luck in the romance department in the past. In fact her first few albums were filled with songs written about her failed romances so I almost have to wonder what she will produce if she ends up getting her version of a happily ever after with Harris.
